• If you are using a model with an oily stock, you should take care that the stock is not exposed to water (rain etc.) and you should feed your stock using an oily cloth instead of wiping it with a dry cloth. Swaddles without a varnish coating will absorb water and the wood will swell after a while. This situation is not covered by the warranty. If you are not a sensitive user, we recommend that you choose models with varnished wooden stock or synthetic stock.
• If you are using a caustic coated or smear painted model, you should pay more attention to its cleaning and maintenance. Continuous hand contact on caustic coated and smear painted parts, fingerprints on caustic coated/slide-painted spots and leaving the rifle without wiping these marks with an oily cloth, putting the rifle on hold for a long time without completely drying and wiping the wetted barrel/body in rainy weather, etc. For reasons, coating removal and thin rusting may occur on caustic coated/slide painted surfaces. The risk of this condition occurring is particularly high in humid areas if proper care is not exercised. If the aforementioned issues are not taken into account, your rifle will be out of warranty against corrosion. If you are not a sensitive user, we recommend choosing the more durable chrome plating.
• After shooting, clean the inside of the barrel using a real tool. The point to be noted here is that the inside of the barrel must be completely clean and oil-free before shooting. If there is oil left in the barrel, the fired bullets may smear.
• It is important to clean the rotating head mechanism and its bearing at regular intervals depending on usage and to lubricate it with a quality gun oil; otherwise, the mechanism of your rifle may jam.
• If the gunpowder residue accumulated in Active Valve Gas System semi-automatic models is not cleaned for a long time, it may prevent the mechanism of the rifle from working; therefore the gas chamber and piston must be cleaned frequently.
• Semi-automatic smoothbore shotguns are legally limited to 2+1 cartridge capacity (in 2 magazines in 1 barrel) for hunting use. These models are shipped from the factory with a plastic chock that reduces the magazine capacity to 2.
• Cleaning around the needles after shooting will prolong the life of the needles.
MAKE SURE YOUR WEAPON IS UNLOADED BEFORE YOU BEGIN CLEANING.
• Clean and lubricate your shotgun at the end of the day you shoot or hunt.
Cleaning Procedures
• Disassemble the rifle (refer to the disassembly paragraph in the Owner’s Manual).
• Clean the insides of the barrels with a real tool and remove any residue from the cartridge explosion. Don’t forget to clean the chamber, too.
• Do not forget to remove the mobile shocks and clean the shock tubes and bearings. Otherwise, shocks that are not cleaned for a long time may become unscrewed.
• Run a dry and clean cloth through the barrel to remove oil residues. Then lubricate the inside of the barrel and all metal parts with a quality gun oil.
• Finally, hold the rifle by the wooden/synthetic part and put it in its holster or where you want to store it.
• Always clean the exterior of your gun carefully to keep it free from fingerprints, stains and sweat.
• Always follow gun lubrication and cleaning instructions.
• If your gun is exposed to sand, dust, excessive moisture, water or unsuitable conditions, it should be cleaned and lubricated.
• Check the MECHANISM after a period of heavy use and, if necessary, clean and lubricate with a suitable oil.
• If your gun is to be used in cold climates, oil of appropriate thickness should be selected for the weather conditions in question. Because an unsuitable oil can solidify in the cold.
• In semi-automatic models, the mechanism should be lubricated with a small amount of oil at certain intervals. Excessive use of oil, especially of poor quality, may prevent the mechanism from working.
NEVER TOUCH OR CHANGE THE INSIDE PARTS OF YOUR WEAPON.
MAINTENANCE, ADJUSTMENT, OR SERVICE NOT MENTIONED IN THIS MANUAL MAY AFFECT THE CORRECT AND SAFE OPERATION OF YOUR WEAPON. THEREFORE, SUCH OPERATIONS SHOULD ONLY BE DONE BY AN AUTHORIZED WEAPONMASTER USING ORIGINAL PARTS. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THIS RULE, SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH CAN OCCUR IF YOUR SHOOTAGE DEFECTS TROUBLES OR IF YOUR RIFLE IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY.
• Do not store your rifle in leather cases or places covered with thick cloth that will collect moisture or become damp. If your gun will not be used for a long time, the inside and outside of the barrel, as well as other interior surfaces, should be coated with high quality oil or gun-specific protectors.
• The case, mechanism and barrel should be lubricated with anti-corrosive oil.
