AK-40GL is a uniquely designed, domestic and national 40 mm caliber grenade launcher developed to meet the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces in new generation infantry rifles and other infantry rifles with under-barrel Picatinny rail feature . In addition to its light and ergonomic structure that provides ease of use and transportation, it draws attention with its unique design for right and left use (safety latch and double-sided filling). A coded version of the AK-40GLX with its endless trigger system and angle adjustable stock was also produced.
