The AK-12UBS is a smoothbore rifle with a pump action system, designed to be used as an auxiliary weapon in infantry rifles with 12 gauge pump under the barrel and Picatinny rail feature under the barrel. It is also possible to use the gun individually and can be used with the supplied adjustable stock set.

AK-12UBS, which can use lethal (steel or lead shot) or non-lethal (plastic) bullets, is very effective in social events and close combat, thanks to the dispersion of the ammunition it uses and its mass hit.
